Developmental Coordination Disorder Assessment Process
Step 1. Before the Assessment

- Optionally, a parent, partner, or friend may complete a similar form
- You can share past reports, but no formal documents are required.
Step 2. Live Assessment (2–3 hours)
- Conducted via Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams
- Led by a psychologist or specialist teacher.
- Includes a review of your questionnaire, structured interviews, and standardised ADHD tests (e.g., DSM-5, Conners’, Barkley).
- May include attention, memory, or problem-solving tasks as needed.
Step 3. After the Assessment
- Receive a confidential report within 3 weeks.
- Includes findings, strengths, and tailored strategies for study, work, and daily life.
- Note: This is not a medical diagnosis and cannot be used to access NHS medication.
